The Manhattan Comedy School is Hiring!
Administrative Assistant to Comedy Producer
This position is perfect for anyone with an interest in:
Stand-up Comedy,Comedy writing, Film making & Producing
 
Work alongside Comedy Producer Andrew Engel, Gotham Comedy Club director of New Talent for the past twelve years.
 
Job description: Full-time
We are looking for someone who can dedicate a minimum of 12 hours a week, at least 2-3 days a week, possibly more with flexible hours (if accepted we can iron out a schedule that works best for you). This individual should be a tech savvy person who has basic knowledge of Microsoft, Excel, Outlook Express. Must be a proficient typist with strong attention to detail. Must work well in a fast-paced environment and able to deliver projects with a quick turnaround. Experience with Constant Contact and Google Ads a plus. JOB MUST START WITH AN UNPAID 1-2 WEEK TRAIL PERIOD. Job would start in mid may.
 
Jobs include:
Primary responsibility is administrative assistance
minimum three days a week.

Assist with Producing Stand-up Comedy shows at Gotham Comedy Club.
Promoting Complimentary stand-up comedy shows at Gotham Comedy club.
Promoting Complimentary workshops in: Podcasting, Stand-up comedy, Storytelling & Improv.
Writing articles or blog posts on the state of Stand-up comedy.
