A new Saturday night comedy show.We have a brand-new weekly Saturday-night comedy show, more NYC performance opportunities, and an update on the MCS Comedy Accelerator. |
Grand opening · November 7 Every Saturday at 8 PM at Bill's Supper Club I'm very excited to announce a new weekly stand-up comedy show every Saturday at 8 PM at Bill's Supper Club, located in a beautiful historic three-story townhouse in Midtown Manhattan.

Your guests can order food instead of drinks. The food is excellent, and that's an option many comedy clubs don't offer, especially on a Saturday night. All performances are recorded for the comics, with recordings available for purchase. There's already strong interest in this new room, and I want November 7 to establish it as a great Saturday-night show from day one. The grand opening lineup is close to full, so if you'd like to be considered, please get in touch soon.

Also booking Rodney's · Friday, October 30 · 7 PM 8-person bringer minimum. This show is only a few days away, so if you'd like to be considered, send your name, phone number and email address right away.

Stop guessing your next move in comedy. The MCS Comedy Accelerator is a 12-month career development and mentorship program with Andy Engel, industry pros and Emmy winners, backed by real stage time in top NYC comedy clubs. I've spent more than 30 years producing shows and developing comedians in New York. Most comics don't stall because they lack talent. They stall because they don't have experienced professionals helping them decide what's working, what needs to change and what their next move should be. |
The program What your 12 months include
Two MCS classes + industry guidance $900 value Two Manhattan Comedy School classes of your choice, plus ongoing professional guidance. |
10 guest spots — no bringer requirement $2,000 value Ten guest spots on MCS-produced shows with no bringer requirement, including shows currently running at Comic Strip Live, Rodney's and Bill's Supper Club. |
Pro team review of your work twice a year $1,500 value Our professional team evaluates your material, structure, delivery, openers, closers and overall development. |
Three private one-hour lessons with a pro $600 value Three one-on-one coaching sessions focused entirely on your material, performance and development. |

Why no-bringer stage time matters A typical NYC bringer show can cost your five guests $200+ in tickets and drink minimums just so you can perform. Your 10 Accelerator guest spots have no bringer requirement. You concentrate on your comedy, not selling seats. |

MCS alumni include

| Ryan Reiss — Late Night with Seth Meyers monologue writer |

…and many others whose work has appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Comedy Central and other major platforms.

Advanced opportunities When my team and I believe you and your material are truly ready, we may also help open additional doors, including:
| → |

| → |
Industry introductions: agents, managers, club owners and producers |
| → |

Potential paid work |
These opportunities are not automatic or guaranteed. They depend entirely on your development and our professional assessment that you're ready. But if you've done the work and we believe you're ready, we'll help you identify and pursue the appropriate next opportunities. |
